The Story of Gida

Coming from a background of high-end audio and Scandinavian design, Nordic-Audio set out to create an active speaker system that has as few limitations as conceivably possible.
The Gida contains:

• Wi-Fi Streaming:
  For the future, nobody should be bound to just one operating system, controlling all of their music. Therefore the Gida has a Wi-Fi streaming that will receive any 2.4 GHz or Bluetooth.
• Line inputs:
  In order to support more conventional analog Tuner, CD, Cass and more, there are 2 line inputs in the Gida.
• Spdif-input:
  Furthermore there is a digital Spdif input in the speaker. The spdif-input can receive digital signals directly from almost any CD-player or television.
• Subwoofer output:
  If there should occur a need for even more room filling bass, a subwoofer can be connected directly to the dedicated subwoofer output. (Subwoofer must be purchased separately.)
• Digital amplifier:
  A modern, digital amplifier has been specially designed to incorporate a fully digital power supply that is built into the speaker box. You will have absolutely no need for extra PC-like power supplies!
  When the speakers are in standby mode, the power consumption is fully up to the EU demands of 0, 4 watt.
• The speaker has no fancy trim rings to lure people into believing that things are more than they are. As we say “if you accept looking at the screws, then we can afford to give you better guts”
  And the very same goes for the finish. There is no fancy and costly high-gloss lacquer; we rather use the money on drivers that normally are seen in speakers costing many times more!
• AMT Tweeter and bass/midrange:
  Nordic-Audio have designed our own drivers and amplifiers for the Gida using the very best (AMT) tweeter on the marked. A tweeter, which is normally only found in real high-end speakers.
  The bass/midrange has been designed using a cast frame, employing an aluminum cone and voice coil glued together with a special heat transferable adhesive, in order to keep the voice coil cool to avoid power compression.

All of this combined, and you have the Gida! A real high-end sounding monitor that will impress any music-lover!
